dc.description.abstract The objective of this research is to study a subset of Lebanese banks and check whether their leaders have transformational leadership traits or not, using the banks financial fiscal results for secondary data. After giving a concise description of the banking industry in Lebanon and future prospects, the paper reviews transformation leadership and the transformational leader. As for the primary data study was conducted on those banks and the leadership styles were tested to check if the managers are "transformational leaders". In light of the findings of the questionnaires, an analysis is conducted, in order to find the areas in need of improvement, considering the transformational leadership theories. The recommendations could prove useful for the banks that participated in the study or any other organization considering enhancing performance, maintaining local market share, or even going global. en_US
